About Us

Donnybrook Primary School opened in January 2023 and is located in Donnybrook, 32 kilometres north of Melbourne. Our school has a current enrolment of 775 students across 35 classes from Foundation to Grade 6. We forecast an enrolment of over 940 for the beginning of the 2027 school year. We are located in a new residential estate on an expansive 3.5 hectare site, just a short walk from the popular Gumnut Park and Adventure Playground. Our school is surrounded by an engaged, vibrant, supportive community. Donnybrook Primary School is already developing close ties to the local community, with strong support from local organisations and community services. Our school is culturally and linguistically diverse with many families with a language background other than English (LOTE). We are a proud, diverse, and inclusive school community. Our dedicated staff are committed to supporting each child to set goals and take pride in their achievements in a safe and caring learning environment.

CRTs

Applicants must hold a current VIT registration and have relevant teaching experience. Employment is on an as-needed basis, with no guarantee of ongoing employment or regular shifts. Employment is governed by Part 2.3 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 and Ministerial Order 200.

ES Classroom Support

Applicants must hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and have experience working with primary-aged students. Employment is on an as-needed basis, with no guarantee of ongoing employment or regular shifts. Employment is governed by Part 2.3 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 and Ministerial Order 200.

Casual staff are employed at ES Level 1, Range 2.

ES Administration

Applicants must hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC), First Aid and CPR certificates. Experience with Compass and CASES21 is desirable. Employment is on an as-needed basis, with no guarantee of ongoing employment or regular shifts.

Employment is governed by Part 2.3 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 and Ministerial Order 200.

Casual staff are employed at ES Level 1, Range 2.
