About the Role

As a casual assistant Team Member, you’ll play a vital role within the team. As a supporting team member you will be afforded the opportunity to work alongside others sharing your knowledge and experience to ensure children have the best possible learning environments and outcomes.

What You’ll Do

- Support and collaboration within the classroom environments
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families
- Ensure compliance with the National Law and Regulations
- Promote child safety and uphold the Victorian Child Safe Standards
- Collaborate in QIP planning and service improvements
- Contribute to orientation and family engagement practices

What We’re Looking For

- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) or above
- Current WWCC,



First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training
- Understanding of child development and contemporary pedagogy
- Strong leadership, communication, and team mentoring skills
- A proactive, reflective, and values-driven approach
- A strong understanding of child protection and child safety principles

Desirable

- Excellent availability, capacity for on-call work
- Experience as a supporting team member
- Familiarity with platforms such as Storypark
- Experience with trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice
