Wonthaggi, Victoria THE VOLT CAFE WONTHAGGI is looking for an experienced and passionate Full-Time Cook to join our growing cafe team. We are seeking someone who is reliable, organised, and passionate about delivering high-quality food and excellent kitchen service in a fast-paced cafe environment.

Position Details

- Position: Full-Time Cook
- Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 per year
- Location: Wonthaggi, Victoria
- Work Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook breakfast, brunch, and cafe-style meals to a high standard
- Assist in menu preparation and weekly specials
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen and workstations
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health standards




- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Assist in reducing food wastage and maintaining kitchen efficiency
- Support team members and contribute to a positive workplace culture

Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working as a cook in a cafe or hospitality environment
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced kitchen
- Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
- Good time management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability including weekends
