Chemistry Specialist (Masters/PhDs) - AI Training
About The Role
What if your deep knowledge of chemistry could directly shape how AI reasons through some of the most complex scientific problems in the world? We're looking for Chemistry Specialists — Masters and PhD-level experts — to help build and train cutting-edge AI models by designing, solving, and evaluating advanced chemistry problems.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just rigorous scientific expertise and a passion for getting the details right.

What You'll Do
- Design and solve advanced chemistry problems with real-world scientific relevance across organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry
- Evaluate and review AI-generated chemistry content for scientific accuracy, depth, and clarity
- Identify errors in reasoning, methodology, and conclusions in complex problem sets
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and other domain experts to enhance AI model reasoning
- Ensure scientific rigor and precision across all deliverables
- Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Master's or PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field
- Deep expertise in one or more areas: organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry
- Comfortable working with Python or computational chemistry tools such as Gaussian or VASP
- Exceptionally detail-oriented with a systematic, rigorous approach to scientific problems
- Strong written communicator who can explain complex concepts with clarity and precision
- Fluent in English
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
- Background in research, academic publishing, or scientific peer review
- Experience working across multiple chemistry subfields
- Familiarity with AI tools or scientific evaluation platforms
