About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Civil Operator to join our growing civil construction team in the Whitsunday Region. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator who takes pride in delivering high-quality work, maintaining equipment to a high standard, and contributing to project success in a fast-paced civil construction environment. As a Civil Operator, you will play a key role in delivering civil construction projects, operating a variety of plant and equipment while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.

You will also assist with site leadership responsibilities when required and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate civil construction machinery including: Graders (Final Trim), Excavators, Loaders, Rollers, Posi Tracks and Trucks.
- Lead site activities in the absence of the Civil Project Manager.
- Conduct daily pre-start inspections and report maintenance requirement.




- Implement and maintain quality control standards across site activities.
- Ensure all plant and vehicles are maintained to a high standard, including weekly cleaning.
- Uphold all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Complete accurate daily reports and project documentation.
- Identify site challenges and implement practical, effective solutions.

Skills & Experience:

- Demonstrated experience in civil construction operations.
- Final Trim and GPS machine control experience.
- Solid capability operating a variety of civil construction machinery.
- Current HR (Heavy Rigid) Licence.
- Current White Card.
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
