Role Description The Civil Supervisor role is a full-time/contract, on-site position based in Brisbane and open to travel regional QLD, overseeing day-to-day civil construction activities on project sites.

The Civil

Supervisor will coordinate site crews, manage subcontractors, and ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to specification. This role includes monitoring construction progress, conducting inspections, and implementing quality control measures in line with company standards and legislative requirements.

Supervisor will collaborate closely with Project Managers and Engineers, manage site documentation, and report on daily activities, risks, and issues. The position requires proactive communication with stakeholders, enforcing safety protocols, and supporting a positive, inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills and experience in leading civil construction teams.
- Candidates should possess proven site supervision capabilities, including on-site coordination of crews and subcontractors.




- Candidates should possess quality control skills, with the ability to implement and maintain construction and safety standards.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills for interacting with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in civil construction projects such as roads, earthworks, subdivision, stormwater drainage or infrastructure works.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Certificate or diploma in Civil Construction, Engineering, or a related field is desirable; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Valid driver’s licence and the ability to work safely in outdoor, site-based environments.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a Civil Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.
- Proven experience supervising civil construction crews and subcontractors.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and site practices.
- Experience with roads, earthworks, subdivisions, stormwater drainage, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and project specifications.
- Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to identify issues and proactively develop practical solutions.
- Good understanding of quality control and construction documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.




- Relevant Certificate, Diploma, or qualification in Civil Construction, Engineering, or a related field is desirable.
- A valid Australian driver’s licence.
- Ability and willingness to travel to regional Queensland projects.
- Commitment to working safely and maintaining a professional site setting.
