The Fish Factory is excited to announce a job opportunity for a Cleaner to join our team. Working a five-day roster from 2PM to 9PM, the successful candidate will become part of our highly functioning cleaning team. This role offers exceptional work-life balance, with short shifts and a guaranteed salary! A Saturday shift may be required as part of the role. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and an eagerness to learn!

Your role

Being part of the cleaning team, you will be responsible for the overall hygiene and cleaning duties within our warehouse. Possessing a robust attention for detail, you will be a people person and able to follow instructions effectively.

The main responsibilities of the position are:

· Shutdown and preparation of plant for next day operations

· Cleaning and sanitation of seafood processing equipment, plant and rooms

· General warehouse cleaning duties

· Occasional unload of product

Experience, qualifications & personal attributes

Essential

- Ability to organise, prioritise, multitask, be flexible and meet deadlines.




- Work well with others and be a team player.
- Strong work ethic.
- Proactive work style.

Desirable, but not necessary

- Previous experience in a cleaning role
- Strong understanding of commercial and warehouse cleaning
