Role Description The CNC Tube Bender Operator is a full time, on-site role based in Rowville, VIC. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC tube bending machinery to produce components for Moddex modular barrier systems according to specifications and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting engineering drawings, selecting appropriate tooling, loading materials, and adjusting machine settings to ensure accurate bends and consistent production.

The operator will inspect finished parts,



perform basic machine maintenance, and record production data to support efficiency and quality control. Collaboration with production team members and supervisors is expected to meet daily output targets, uphold safety procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement across the workshop.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Machine Operation, including setup, safe operation, and monitoring of CNC or similar machinery.
- Experience with Machining and Milling processes, with the ability to work to tight tolerances and follow technical drawings.
- Knowledge of Machinery maintenance and troubleshooting to keep equipment running efficiently and safely.
- Proficiency in Quality Control practices, including inspection of parts, measurement using gauges, and documentation of results.
- Previous experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or a similar production workplace.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety, including adherence to PPE and safe work procedures.
- Valuable communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Relevant vocational qualification or trade certificate in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to new processes, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
