The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced and motivated Mechanical Commissioning Technicians to join our team on a major resource project just outside Newman in WA. This is a great opportunity to be part of a high-performing team delivering critical infrastructure in the heart of the Pilbara, one of Australia’s most significant and dynamic resource regions. The role offers exposure to industry-leading standards, modern test equipment, and the chance to contribute to a project that will play a key role in supporting ongoing operations in the mining sector.

Work Scope

- As a Construction Electrician, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Support the mechanical commissioning, testing and handover of fixed-plant equipment.
- Work closely with construction, commissioning,



engineering and operations teams throughout the commissioning process.
- Verify mechanical completion and ensure equipment has been installed in accordance with project requirements.
- Assist with pre-commissioning, functional testing, inspections and fault identification.
- Support defect rectification and punch-list close-out activities.
- Ensure equipment is tested, compliant and ready for safe operation and handover to the operations team.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Turner Trade Certificate
- Construction Card (White)
- Working At Heights
- Confined Space Entry
- Australian Working Rights
- Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience
