Community Services Manager
Lead services that make a genuine difference
Killarney Memorial Aged Care, trading as K-Life, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Community Services Manager to lead and grow our community-based services across Support at Home, NDIS and CHSP programs. This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for service quality, workforce capability, compliance, financial performance and sustainable growth. You will build strong relationships with clients, families, employees and community partners to ensure services remain safe, responsive and genuinely person-led.
About the role
As Community Services Manager, you will:
- Lead, support and develop the Community Services team.
- Oversee service delivery across Support at Home, NDIS, CHSP and fee-for-service programs.
- Maintain effective systems for quality, clinical governance, risk, incidents, complaints and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee client assessments, care planning, service coordination and reviews.
- Ensure services respond to each client’s individual goals, preferences and changing needs.
- Manage workforce planning, recruitment, performance and safe work practices.
- Monitor budgets, package utilisation, funding claims and operational performance.
- Identify opportunities to grow services and establish new client and community partnerships.
- Promote K-Life as a trusted community care provider and community health hub.
About you
You will bring:
- A relevant qualification in community services, health, human services or a related field, ideally Certificate IV level or higher.
- Leadership experience within aged care, community care, disability services or a similar environment.
- Knowledge of Support at Home, NDIS and CHSP programs, or the ability to quickly develop this knowledge.
- A sound understanding of governance, quality, risk and compliance requirements.
- Strong people leadership, coaching and workforce management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships.
- A current First Aid and CPR certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
- An unrestricted Australian driver licence.
- NDIS Worker Screening clearance and Blue Card, or the ability to obtain them.
Candidates must have unrestricted Australian working rights.
