As the Community Services Team Leader, you will lead and support a dedicated team delivering high-quality aged care and NDIS services that empower people to live independently, stay connected to their community, and achieve positive life outcomes.

In This Role, You'll Enjoy

- Leading and developing a team of Community Support Workers through mentoring, guidance and day-to-day support.
- Creating positive community outcomes by coordinating engaging programs and activities that promote social inclusion, cultural connection and participation.

- Enjoying variety in your work, with responsibilities spanning team leadership, client engagement, service coordination and operational support

What your day will look like, but are not limited to: No two days are the same in this rewarding leadership role. You'll be at the heart of service delivery, supporting your team, connecting with clients, and ensuring high-quality community care services are delivered safely and effectively.
- Lead, mentor and support Community Support Workers to ensure clients receive quality, person-centered care.
- Coordinate daily service activities and help your team deliver responsive and culturally appropriate support services.
- Build positive relationships with clients, families, carers and community stakeholders to support individual needs and wellbeing.
- Organise and facilitate social, recreational and community-based activities that encourage participation, inclusion and connection





The Ideal Candidate Profile We're looking for a confident and capable leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality community care services and creating positive outcomes for people and communities. You will bring a genuine commitment to person-centered care, a supportive leadership style, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, colleagues and community stakeholders. You Will Bring The successful candidate will bring a combination of relevant qualifications, practical experience, and a genuine passion for supporting people and communities. You will have the knowledge and capability to lead teams, deliver quality services, and promote positive outcomes for aged care clients and NDIS participants

- Experience supporting the delivery of community, aged care, disability, or human services programs.
- A caring, compassionate and client-focused approach to service delivery
- The ability to work effectively in culturally diverse environments and demonstrate respect for cultural values, customs and beliefs.
- Robust leadership skills with the ability to mentor, motivate and support teams to achieve positive outcomes.
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or a related qualification.

Other Requirements

- Criminal History Check (recent, within 3 months).
- A current Working with Children’s Card (Ochre Card).
- A current unrestricted Drivers Licence.
- NDIS Worker Orientation and Mandatory Modules
