Computer & Mobile Repair Technician

MyTechFix is looking for an experienced and reliable Computer & Mobile Repair Technician to join our team in Geelong. This is an on-site role, where you will travel to customers’ homes and businesses to provide IT support and repair services.

We are looking for someone with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in computer and mobile device repairs, along with strong general IT support skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair desktop computers, laptops and mobile devices
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Install and configure Microsoft Windows and macOS
- Perform Windows troubleshooting, updates and system optimisation
- Provide basic Microsoft 365, email and software support
- Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, networking and connectivity issues
- Perform data backup, transfer and recovery tasks
- Install and configure printers and other peripherals
- Provide on-site technical support at customer locations
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Keep accurate records of repairs and customer issues

Requirements
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in computer and mobile repairs




- Positive knowledge of Windows and macOS
- Experience diagnosing hardware and software problems
- Basic knowledge of networking, Wi-Fi and printers
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Valid Victorian Driver Licence
- Reliable car for travelling to customer locations
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs
- Reliable, professional and willing to learn

Desirable
- Experience with iPhone, iPad and Android repairs
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and cloud services
- Previous experience providing on-site IT support
- Relevant IT qualification or certification

Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week
