This is a physically demanding, hands-on role involving the installation of concrete sleeper retaining walls. You will be comfortable lifting heavy materials, using a wheelbarrow and working outdoors.
Key responsibilities
- Installing concrete sleeper retaining walls
- Excavation and site preparation
- Drainage and back filling
- Lifting and moving concrete sleepers
- Mixing and placing concrete
- Loading and unloading materials
- Keeping worksites, vehicles and equipment clean and organised

- Physically fit and capable of sustained manual work
- Strong work ethic and willingness to maintain a positive pace
- Reliable, punctual and ready to work
- Positive attitude and ability to follow instructions
- Initiative without needing constant direction
- Respect for clients, teammates, tools and equipment
- Driver's licence and reliable transport
- Construction White Card
- Construction, civil, landscaping, concreting, retaining wall or machinery experience would be an advantage but it is not essential for the right person
