The Opportunity We have a fantastic opportunity for Consultant Psychiatrists to undertake structured Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) on the Sunshine Coast, QLD.

The work is predominantly focused on plaintiff personal injury matters, particularly motor vehicle accident and CTP claims.

You will provide independent psychiatric opinions regarding diagnosis, causation, treatment, prognosis, permanent impairment and an individual’s capacity for work.

About You

- Specialist registration in Psychiatry with AHPRA with no conditions or restrictions
- FRANZCP or an equivalent recognised specialist qualification
- Current professional indemnity insurance
- Strong written communication and report-writing skills
- An interest in personal injury and medicolegal assessments

Previous medicolegal experience is highly regarded; however, Consultant Psychiatrists interested in entering this area are also encouraged to apply. Additional locations will be available soon.
