We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to lead our cleaning services contract for Victorian Government schools in Melbourne, Victoria. This pivotal role will focus on providing strategic direction to drive efficiency and productivity while ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and making a significant contribution to achieving optimal contract outcomes.

About the role

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager – VIC/TAS, the Contract Manager – Victorian Schools will be responsible for the overall delivery of cleaning services for a portion of the Victorian Government Schools Contract. This role involves fostering strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring commitment and accountability in the delivery of cleaning services under the contract. Monthly performance results against targets must be reported.

In this critical position, you will lead a team of four dedicated Managers who manage the day-to-day operations of their respective portfolios.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

- Confidence as an accomplished Senior Manager, with a proven track record of managing complex, multi-site operations involving significant people, cost and budget responsibilities
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of contracts
- The ability to lead and develop a team, strengthen operational disciplines, and think tactically and strategically
- The ability to build credibility with clients by demonstrating professionalism and discretion.
- The ability to ensure compliance with contractual requirements relating to service delivery, timeliness and reporting
- The ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and coordination of activities critical to business objectives
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent presentation, organisational, problem-solving, multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise efficiently and meet competing deadlines




- Ability to work within a team and autonomously
- A proactive approach to work, including a willingness to take on tasks beyond core responsibilities
