Role Description The Content & Social Media Manager is a part-time, on-site role based in Canberra. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing engaging content across social media platforms to grow brand awareness and community engagement. Day-to-day tasks include developing content calendars, writing and posting updates, optimizing social media channels, responding to comments and messages, and monitoring performance metrics.
The role also involves collaborating with the wider team to showcase new designs, customer stories, and partnerships, while maintaining a consistent brand voice. The successful candidate will help shape BootInk’s online presence and support campaigns that drive traffic and sales.
Qualifications
- Strong social media skills, including Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimisation (SMO).
- Content-focused abilities, such as Content Strategy and Writing, with an eye for brand consistency.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and represent the brand professionally.
- Experience managing social channels (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube) for consumer or lifestyle brands.
- Ability to analyse social media performance data and adjust content strategies based on insights.
- Comfort working in office in Canberra, collaborating with a small team in a dynamic environment.
- Interest in football or sports culture is highly beneficial.
- Relevant experience in marketing, communications, or content creation; formal qualifications in these areas are an advantage but not mandatory.
