This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Junior Lawyer or Paralegal who seeks to progress in the area of Conveyancing and Commercial practice in a full-time role. Initially working under the supervision of the Principal who has over 38 years experience, we offer a balanced working environment in North Parramatta. The firm specialises in Conveyancing, Litigation, Commercial and Estate matters and we are ideally located just outside of the Parramatta CBD with onsite parking.

The role involves

Role Description

- Manage the residential and commercial property transactions for the firm
- Overseeing matters initially under supervision of the Principal while showing initiative in progressing towards independent carriage of matters
- Preparing and reviewing contracts, transfer documents, and conveyancing forms
- Monitoring property transactions from start to end
- Collaborate with clients ranging from individual investors and first home buyers to medium and large-scale property developers
- Provide advice on leasing and commercial matters, including purchase and sale of businesses
- Drafting correspondence, organising and maintaining matter files
- Basic legal research, document management, and administrative tasks
- Stay informed about industry trends,



legal developments, and best practices in property and commercial law.

Qualifications

- Whilst a law degree is beneficial, a paralegal qualification, with a robust interest in property and conveyancing will also be considered favourable
- Foundational knowledge of property law, contract law, and the conveyancing process in NSW, or a willingness to learn these areas quickly.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients
- Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Solid organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency with standard office software and document management tools
- Experience with legal practice management and systems including PEXA
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment
- Prior exposure to a law firm or legal office (through internships, clerkships, or similar experience) is desirable but not mandatory
- Ability to speak an Indian language an advantage but not essential
