Our architecturally-designed, purpose-built childcare centre in The Junction near Newcastle has an opportunity for a Cook / Kitchen Hand to prepare and cook meals for our children. The centre is a small 3-room centre, and is staffed by a welcoming and compassionate team of educators. We are inviting applications from enthusiastic cooks who are looking to work part-time, between 8am and 1.30pm, Monday to Friday.

This prospect is ideal for home cooks and experienced chefs alike, and would suit someone who enjoys working independently in a supportive environment.

Professional cooking experience is not required: passionate home cooks are welcome to apply!

? Preparing and cooking simple meals and snacks for children

Essential Selection Criteria

? Current Safe Food Handling Certificate (or willing to obtain)

? Strong attention to safe food handling procedures

? Excellent organisational and time management skills

Hours: 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (between school hours)
