Role Overview We are seeking a proactive Creative Promo Producer / Edit Assistant to lead the creative output of our promotional content and provide essential technical support. This hybrid role requires a 'campaign mindset'—you will not just edit promos, but conceptualise, drive, and own the creative vision for trailers and social media assets across our award-winning projects. Balancing this strategic creative leadership with meticulous technical workflows, you will ensure our editorial department remains seamless while championing the brand voice of our immersive documentaries to global audiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Creative Promo Editing: Conceptualise and edit high-impact trailers and promos for White Spark Pictures’ projects and our proprietary 360-degree film content.
- Social Media Asset Creation: Produce shareable, platform-specific content—including short-form video and high-resolution images—for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn to drive global brand engagement.
- Data & Media Management: Manage the ingest, secure backup, and logging of high-resolution, multi-camera 360° media and spatial audio files.
- Workflow Preparation: Transcode media, create proxies, and organise project bins to ensure a smooth and effective workflow for Lead Editors.
- Sync & Assembly: Synchronise complex audio arrays (supporting our proprietary Surround Sync® technology) and multi-camera plates. Assemble rough sequences and prepare timelines for editing.
- Turnovers & Conforming: Prep and manage round-trip turnovers for colour grading, sound design,



and VFX departments. Conform locked edits for finishing.
- Quality Control: Assist with rigorous QC checks of 360° exports, testing outputs directly in VR headsets.
- Pipeline Maintenance: Maintain meticulous project organisation, manage storage arrays, and help troubleshoot technical post-production issues as they arise.

Essential Criteria

- Proven experience in a dual creative/technical role, such as Creative Promo Producer or Edit Assistant with a strong portfolio of traditional film/video editing.
- High proficiency in industry-standard NLEs (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Deep understanding of video codecs, frame rates, colour spaces, and data management best practices.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with a meticulous approach to naming conventions and file structures.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and proactively solve technical problems.

Desirable Criteria (VR & VFX)

- VFX Pipeline Experience: Previous experience working within or supporting a VFX pipeline (e.g., preparing plates for compositors, managing VFX turnovers, or QCing final shots).
- VFX Software: Familiarity with compositing software such as After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve Fusion.
- 360° / Immersive Media: An understanding of 360° video workflows, equirectangular projection, and spatial audio formats.
- Stitching Experience: Familiarity with 360° stitching software (such as Insta360 stitcher, Mistika VR or specialised camera software) is highly regarded.
- Project Management: Experience using Asana (or similar project management tools) to manage daily tasks, track progress, and report on workload.
- Headset Deployment: Experience sideloading and testing media on VR hardware (e.g., Meta Quest, Pico headsets).
