Credit Analyst – Mortgage & Lending | 5+ Years’ Experience

We’re looking for an experienced Credit Analyst to join our mortgage broking team.

This is a senior credit-focused role for someone with strong analytical skills and extensive experience reviewing payslips, income documentation and complex financials.

What we’re looking for:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in mortgage lending, credit assessment or a similar credit analyst role
- Extensive experience analysing and verifying payslips and PAYG income, including overtime, allowances, bonuses, commissions and other variable income
- Strong experience analysing complex self-employed financials, including tax returns, financial statements, BAS and company/trust structures
- Ability to identify inconsistencies, servicing risks and credit issues before an application is submitted
- Strong understanding of lender servicing requirements and credit policy
- Experience assessing complex residential lending scenarios, including investors, multiple entities and non-standard income structures




- High attention to detail and confidence working independently
- Robust written communication and file-note/documentation skills

- The role will involve:

- Reviewing client financial documents and validating income
- Analysing complex PAYG and self-employed income
- Reviewing borrowing capacity and servicing
- Identifying discrepancies, missing information and potential credit issues
- Reviewing lender policy and determining suitable lending options
- Preparing files for submission and ensuring applications are accurate and complete
- Working closely with the broker to structure more complex lending scenarios

We are specifically looking for someone who already has substantial hands-on credit experience. This is not an entry-level or training position.
