The Role - Desktop Supervisor
- Manage and supervise a portfolio of building repair, restoration and make safe projects.
- Coordinate all logistical requirements including the issuing of PO's and sales / invoice forecasting.
- Proactively carrying out advance scheduling,
managing forecasted work activities and ensuring project completion is within set budgets and timelines.
- Manage works & trades from make safe through to completion, whilst also overseeing trade workflow, capacity, quality and delivery timeframe.
- Updating and reporting weekly to the National Services Manager regarding your allocated projects.
- Support the desktop estimating team in completing desktop and virtual assessment quotes during high volume events.
- Manage client expectations, ensuring a high level customer experience by building strong customer relationships & periodic updates.
- Maintaining all necessary WHS audits, risk assessments and carrying out risk mitigation procedures.
- Preparation of SWMS and Site Safety Works as required.
- Support & backup restoration repair works as required
- Partake in afterhours make safe team roster.
Skills and Experience
- Prior desktop supervision/repair coordination experience with insurance work considered highly advantageous
- Excellent time management skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
- The ability to communicate effectively, multitask and problem solve
- High level of customer service focus with outstanding relationship management skills
- A commitment to safety with a knowledge of Health & Safety policies and procedures, company policies and industry standards
