Responsibilities

About the Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a modern fleet of underground mobile mining equipment. Working across underground service bays, workshops and field breakdowns, you will contribute to the safe and reliable operation of the Federation Mine. The role involves preventative maintenance, fault finding, diagnostics and breakdown response.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on underground mobile equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults
- Conduct breakdown maintenance and field service repairs
- Complete pre-start inspections and equipment condition reports
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation




- Work collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams to minimise equipment downtime
- Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

Qualifications

About You

- Heavy Diesel Fitter, Diesel Mechanic or HD Fitter trade qualification
- Experience maintaining heavy mobile mining or construction equipment
- Robust troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Commitment to maintaining a secure workplace
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
