About the role

Nurtured Beginnings' is seeking an experienced Diploma or Cert 3 Room Leader to join our team in our Preschool Room at our Condell Park, NSW centre. This is a full-time opportunity to lead and inspire a team of early childhood educators, providing high-quality care and education to children aged 3-5 years.

What you'll be doing

- Lead and mentor a team of early childhood educators to deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate educational programs
- Ensure all children in your care receive individualised attention and support to foster their social, emotional, cognitive and physical development
- Maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment that aligns with the National Quality Standards
- Collaborate with families to build strong partnerships and support children's learning and wellbeing
- Comply with all relevant legislation, regulations and policies to ensure best practice
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the centre through evaluation, reflection and implementation of innovative practices
- Managing a room of 30 children, with 4 staff (including one out of ratio support)

What we're looking for

- Diploma or Cert 3 of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Room Leader or in a similar senior educator role




- Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families and your team
- Ability to lead, motivate and support a team of early childhood educators
- Problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused approach
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the best outcomes for children
