About the Team

Fitch Ratings' Business Relationship Management (BRM) division provides tactical marketing and business development management for all Fitch Ratings product groups. The team is responsible for

Issuer marketing (including sovereign, financial institutions, corporate, structured finance, international public finance and infrastructure finance)

Banker/Arranger outreach

Managing the visibility and positioning of Fitch as the rating agency of choice in Japan and Asia

How You’ll Make an Impact:

Report to Singapore based Managing Director, BRM and work closely with BRM team members in the Sydney office to meet revenue budgets and manage existing issuer and banker relationships





Originate new rating mandates from Corporate Infrastructure and Project Finance (CIPF) issuers/sponsors in Australia and New Zealand.

Identify rating gaps and new business opportunities in the Australia CIPF space, create and discuss a strategic outreach plan

Work closely with internal/external counterparts (issuers, bankers, analysts, etc.) to ensure smooth execution of new and existing rating exercises and provide timely support in the preparation of documentation

Support Private Credit related initiatives in Australia and New Zealand

Work with the global revenue management team to lead and manage rating contract renewals in a timely manner

Market Sustainable Fitch's Second Party Opinions (SPOs) to target issuers in Australia and New Zealand

Work closely with business/billing support team to ensure timely billing and receivables management

Conduct market research and data analysis as needed to develop pitch materials and market share data Track deal flow, recent ratings and issuances

Conduct and/or support various outreach initiatives (conferences, seminars, one-on-one meetings, electronic distribution, analyst meetings, etc.) to enhance Fitch's market visibility

Provide back-up coverage to the Fitch Sydney BRM team as required

You May be a Good Fit if:

At least 10-15 years or above relevant Relationship Management experience in Debt Capital Markets or banking/financial services sectors

Ability to think strategically and develop and execute marketing plans

Degree educated with specialization in business, finance and other relevant disciplines would be beneficial

Exposure to Bloomberg, effective presentation and negotiation skills is advantageous

Fluency in spoken/ written English is compulsory
