About the role
You will provide person-centered support to people living with disability, helping them achieve their goals, maintain independence, and improve their quality of life.
Key responsibilities
- Personal care and hygiene support
- Community access and social support
- Domestic assistance and meal preparation
- Medication assistance
- Manual handling and transfers
- Hoist operation, where required
- Support for clients with complex care needs
- Transport of appointments and community activities
About you
- Experience in complex care and manual handling
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle preferred
- Solid communication skills and a compassionate approach
- Minimum of 1.5-2 years' experience as a Disability Support Worker
- Certificate III, Certificate IV or Diploma in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care or a similar field
