About Our Client: Our client is an Australian-based technology company specialising in innovative dual-fuel solutions for the mining industry. Their technology helps mining companies reduce diesel consumption, operating costs and emissions while maintaining the performance of heavy haul truck fleets. With a robust focus on innovation, safety and sustainability, they work closely with mining operators, equipment manufacturers and fuel suppliers to deliver practical energy solutions for the resources sector.

What You Will Be Doing

Working Monday – Friday, 7AM to 3PM the successful candidate will be responsible for a range of mechanical and auto electrical duties across the workshop, test cell and yard, including:

- Maintenance of large engines and vehicles – including working with the Workshop Supervisor for parts ordering.
- Maintenance and housekeeping of the test cell, including the dyno.
- Work under the direction of the Workshop Supervisor for matters involving the workshop, test-cell and yard.
- Provide Large Engine mechanical expertise to the engineering team.
- Provide auto electrical expertise and practical outcomes to the engineering team.





What You Will Need

- Trade Qualified – Auto Electrician & Diesel Fitting
- Experience working with large engines, Auto electrics, gas fitting on vehicles (preferable, but not necessary)
- Experience operating a forklift
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- High level diagnostic and problem solving skills
