About the Company The Ecommerce Trade Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day trading performance of the Lounge Lovers website. Working closely with the Ecommerce & CRM manager, the role will monitor performance, identify trading opportunities and execute onsite initiatives that improve conversion, revenue and the customer experience. They will also coordinate online promotions, product merchandising and campaign activity, ensuring the website is accurate and commercially focused.
The role works cross-functionally with Marketing, Buying and Retail Operation teams to ensure the website is aligned with broader business priorities.
About the Role The Ecommerce Trade Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day trading performance of the Lounge Lovers website.
Responsibilities
- Drive online trading performance and achieve agreed sales and KPI targets.
- Monitor daily and weekly online performance against sale and KPIs, including conversion, AOV and UPT.
- Support the execution of the online trade calendar, including promotions, product launches, product hero features and campaign activity.
- Ensure products are launch-ready, discoverable and effectively merchandised online.
- Improve conversion and deliver an efficient online customer experience.
- Use website analytics, customer behaviour mapping tools, channel performance and customer feedback to inform opportunities.
- Translate campaign and trading plans into clear website actions and requirements.
- Escalate and help resolve issues that may affect customers or online sales.
- Support cross-functional commercial execution.
- Work closely with Marketing, Planning, Product, Retail and Customer Service to align online activity with broader business priorities.
- Contribute to a collaborative,
responsive and commercially focused trading rhythm.
Required Skills
- 2-4 years’ experience in Ecommerce, online trading, digital merchandising or a similar role, ideally within retail.
- Strong commercial understanding of Ecommerce performance metrics, including sales, conversion rate, AOV, UPT and channel performance.
- Experience using Big Commerce or other Ecommerce platform and content management system to manage products, categories, content and promotions.
- Strong understanding of onsite merchandising, product enrichment and online product launch processes.
- Working knowledge of SEO/GEO fundamentals and how product, category and website content support organic visibility and growth.
- Experience using web analytics and customer behaviour tools to identify opportunities and inform decisions.
- Strong attention to detail, with experience completing website quality assurance and campaign checks.
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends and translate insights into practical commercial actions.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively across internal cross-functional teams.
- Proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable working in a commercially driven retail environment.
