Monadelphous is seeking experienced E&I; Project Engineers to join our Engineering and Construction division to support delivery of the Brigalow Peaking Power Plant project which is a major balance-of-plant construction contract.
Under this contract, our team will construct the balance-of-plant and install 12 aeroderivative gas turbine generator units, along with engineering and design of minor packages, for the 400MW Brigalow Peaking Power Plant near Chinchilla, Queensland. Project Engineers will initially be based in our Brisbane office to support project setup, ahead of construction commencing on site in 2027.

Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager to ensure project objectives are met on time with respect to cost, safety and quality
Liaise with client representatives and deliver to meet their requirements
Manage the interface between the engineering and project delivery teams to maintain compliance with the specifications, schedules and contract
Manage and supervise the resolution of technical queries as required
Compile schedule, cost, progress and forecast reports for the project; ensuring all schedule reporting requirements are met
What you’ll bring
Minimum 1-2 years' experience in an on-site project engineering or coordination role, ideally on large-scale resources/industrial electrical construction or maintenance projects An Australia recognised, tertiary qualification in Engineering or Trade Certificate
Clear technical skills with demonstrated capability in commercials, budgets/construction metrics and change management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills paired with strong interpersonal skills
Full unrestricted Australian work rights
