About The Role

We are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to provide engineering and technical support and play a key role in coordinating between design, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to achieve successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide guidance off and onsite via technical understanding of electrical project work scopes.
- Liaise with Engineers, Technicians, and Engineering Managers to determine scheduling and management of resources.
- Monitor safe execution of the project.
- Provide project reporting on progress, commercial, schedule, etc.
- Perform quality checks on project work, including coordination with third party inspection if required.
- Ensure approval of correct and timely paperwork for a seamless monthly billing process.




- Ensure project schedules are current, QA documentation is reviewed and transmitted to client.
- Complete project RFI, TQ and NCRs, and maintain registers.
- Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated with register maintained.
- Scope new projects and assist with technical input, sourcing of supplier pricing, quoting of work.

About you

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong technical skills with proficiency in power, lighting, control and communications.
- Commercial experience with preparation of delays/variation claims.
- Ability to complete pre-Engineering for one or more disciplines, specify equipment, perform relevant work, organise field personnel into working teams and plan a safe execution of a project.
- Ability to read and interpret Electrical drawings.
- Good communication skills.
