About the role

Perth Multi Electrics is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of our commercial, industrial and mining projects throughout Western Australia. This is a full-time position based in Perth, with travel to regional and FIFO project sites as required. You will be responsible for managing projects from award through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

- Manage electrical projects from award through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover
- Develop and maintain project programs, budgets, forecasts and cost reports
- Coordinate labour, materials, subcontractors, plant and equipment
- Monitor project performance, productivity and commercial outcomes
- Review contracts, drawings, specifications and scope requirements
- Identify, price and manage variations, extensions of time and contractual notices
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors
- Lead project supervisors, site teams and administrative personnel
- Conduct site visits, progress meetings and project reviews
- Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation, Australian Standards, client requirements and company procedures
- Manage project documentation, including RFIs, procurement schedules, progress claims,



variations and handover documentation
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all projects

What we’re looking for

- Demonstrated experience managing electrical construction projects
- Solid commercial awareness and understanding of project cost control
- Experience delivering commercial, industrial, mining or camp-infrastructure projects
- Excellent leadership, communication and client-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
- Strong understanding of electrical drawings, specifications and Australian Standards
- Experience with project programming, procurement and subcontractor management
- Competency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Project
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- WA A-Grade Electrical Licence or electrical trade background – highly desirable
- Relevant project management or construction qualifications – desirable
- Previous experience working on FIFO or Tier 1 mining projects – advantageous
