About the Role
We are looking for an End User Computing Support Administrator to join our Business Technology team.
This is a hands-on support role focused on keeping our people connected and productive. You will provide day-to-day technical support across devices, systems and collaboration tools, working closely with our Managed Service Provider (MSP) to ensure issues are resolved efficiently and to a high standard.
You will also play a key role in supporting onboarding/offboarding, device lifecycle management, and maintaining smooth IT operations across the business.
What You Will Be Doing
- Provide on-site and remote support for end users across devices, applications, collaboration tools and connectivity issues.
- Manage and coordinate IT incidents and service requests with third-party providers, including our Managed Service Provider.
- Support the Microsoft 365 environment, including Teams, SharePoint, Exchange and Entra ID.
- Assist with user access lifecycle activities, including onboarding, role changes and offboarding.
- Oversee endpoint lifecycle activities, including Microsoft Intune administration, device builds, asset management, hardware refresh and secure disposal.
- Provide AV and video conferencing support,
including meeting room technology such as Yealink.
- Support operational technology activities such as patching, backups, disaster recovery testing and service continuity tasks.
- Assist with email security investigations, phishing response and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Produce clear support documentation, knowledge base articles and user guidance to improve consistency and self-service.
- Contribute to technology projects that improve employee experience, service quality and operational resilience.
About You
You are someone who enjoys solving problems, helping others, and building your technical capability in a quick-paced environment.
Essential experience and capabilities
- 3+ years’ experience in IT support, supported by relevant qualifications, certifications or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience supporting Windows desktop environments, end-user devices and business users.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and customer service skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 services such as Teams, SharePoint, Exchange and Entra ID.
- Experience administering Microsoft Intune for endpoint management, device compliance and application deployment.
- Experience using ticketing systems to manage incidents and service requests.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce accurate documentation and user-friendly guidance.
- A collaborative approach with the ability to build effective stakeholder and vendor relationships.
Desirable Exposure
- Experience in financial services,
insurance or another regulated environment.
- Exposure to networking fundamentals such as IP addressing, VLANs, wireless and network security.
- Exposure to cyber security frameworks such as ISO, NIST or ASD Essential Eight.
- Familiarity with enterprise networking, security, email protection and endpoint protection tools.
- Exposure to Windows Autopilot for device provisioning and modern deployment.
- Experience working with vendors, outsourced IT providers or managed service environments.
