About the Job

Our client is a highly reputable Australian commercial law firm with a solid national presence and an impressive track record of advising businesses across a broad range of industries. Known for its client-focused approach and collaborative culture, the firm continues to experience significant growth and is now seeking a talented Senior Associate / Special Counsel to strengthen its Sydney-based Employment & Workplace Relations practice.

You will join a highly regarded workplace relations practice that partners with organisations of all sizes, from emerging businesses through to large corporates and international employers. The team is recognised for delivering commercially astute advice and practical solutions across the full spectrum of employment and industrial relations issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment agreements, policies, and workplace documentation.
- Supporting clients through workplace investigations, misconduct matters, and performance management processes.




- Assisting employers with enterprise bargaining, industrial relations strategy, and union-related issues.
- Managing employment disputes and representing clients through various dispute resolution processes.
- Providing advice on work health and safety obligations and workplace risk management strategies.

Ideal Candidate

- 5+ years' PAE specialising in employment law
- Demonstrated technical expertise across a broad range of workplace relations issues.
- Excellent legal drafting, analytical, and advisory capabilities.
- Strong commercial acumen and a solutions-oriented approach to client service.
- Ability to build credibility and trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring, supervising, or supporting junior lawyers.
