About the role
Lead national practice implementation, coaching and continuous improvement across Child & Family Services. You’ll guide Practice Coaches, strengthen practice quality and support secure, trauma-informed, child-centred outcomes across jurisdictions.

Duties
- Lead national implementation of therapeutic and evidence-informed practice frameworks
- Translate practice strategy into practical tools, guidance and coaching plans
- Lead, allocate and develop Practice Coaches across jurisdictions
- Provide senior consultation on complex practice matters
- Monitor practice quality, identify risks and drive improvement
- Use data, audits, incidents and outcomes to target practice priorities
- Support regulatory, contractual, safeguarding and Child Safe Standards alignment
- Partner with Clinical, Safeguarding, Quality, Risk and L&D; teams
- Lead reflective practice, case consultation and communities of practice
- Support critical incident response, debriefing and lessons learned
Skills & Experience
- Hold a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Social Science, Child Welfare, Human Services or related discipline
- Bring substantial experience in OOHC, child protection, Family-Based Care or therapeutic care
- Demonstrate leadership experience across practice, clinical, casework or coaching teams
- Apply strong therapeutic, trauma-informed and evidence-informed practice knowledge
- Demonstrate strong coaching, communication, analysis, stakeholder and influencing skills
