Role: EUC Engineer / Workspace Specialist

Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia

Experience: 5+ years

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced End User Computing (EUC) Engineer to design, manage, and support enterprise workspace environments. You'll own the tools and infrastructure that keep employees productive — from device provisioning to virtual desktops to endpoint security — across a hybrid/remote workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, deploy, and maintain EUC solutions including Windows 10/11, macOS, and virtual desktop infrastructure (Citrix, VMware Horizon, or Azure Virtual Desktop/AVD)
- Manage endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM, or Workspace ONE for device provisioning, patching, and policy enforcement
- Administer Microsoft 365 workloads (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) as they relate to the end-user experience
- Own application packaging, deployment, and lifecycle management (MSIX, App-V, or similar)
- Implement and maintain endpoint security controls — antivirus/EDR, disk encryption (BitLocker/FileVault), conditional access, and compliance policies
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Tier 2/3 incidents related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and VDI sessions
- Drive imaging and provisioning standards (Autopilot, JAMF, or equivalent)
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Service Desk teams to improve workplace technology standards
- Document standard operating procedures, build guides,

and knowledge base articles
- Participate in projects such as OS migrations, hardware refresh cycles, and M365 tenant improvements
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior EUC/Service Desk staff

Required Skills & Experience:

- 5+ years of experience in End User Computing, Desktop Engineering, or Workplace Technology roles
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune / SCCM (or equivalent MDM/UEM tools)
- Understanding of Windows OS deployment, Group Policy, and Active Directory / Azure AD (Entra ID)
- Experience with VDI/DaaS platforms (Citrix, Horizon, AVD, or Windows 365)
- Working knowledge of macOS management (JAMF or similar) is highly regarded
- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for automation of routine tasks
- Experience with M365 administration and security/compliance tooling
- Robust troubleshooting skills across hardware, OS, network connectivity, and application issues
- Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills
- ITIL Foundation certification or working knowledge of ITIL processes is a plus

Nice to Have:

- Microsoft certifications (MD-102, MS-102, AZ-104, or similar)
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
- Exposure to Zero Trust security frameworks
- Experience supporting a distributed/hybrid Australian workforce

Benefits:

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, as well as the opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding projects.

Regards,

Kapalins
