We’re adaptable around university and placement commitments and want to give students the opportunity to gain more hands-on patient experience before making the jump into ambulance practice.
Event medical work can help you build confidence in patient communication, observations, assessments, clinical reasoning and documentation while always working within your approved scope.

Your cover letter must specifically tell us:
- How you align with the Get First Aid values
- What you will bring to the GFA team
- Your qualifications, experience and eligibility
- If you’re a Paramedicine student, your current year of study
We don’t want a generic cover letter. We want to know who you are, why you want to join GFA and what you can bring to our team. Applications without a cover letter will NOT be selected to continue through the recruitment process.
Recruitment process
Step 1: Apply via SEEK with your resume and cover letter
Step 2: Shortlisting
