Zest People is partnering with a well-established and highly regarded creative agency, who are looking for an Event Coordinator to join their Melbourne team. Our client delivers standout events, campaigns and brand experiences for a portfolio of leading national and international clients. They are entering an exciting new growth phase - refining and reimagining how it works, and expanding its creative and operational capability.

As the business grows, they're looking to add real firepower to their event production team.

This is a support role for someone who wants to learn and expand on their brand event experience. You won't be running the show on day one, but you will be right in the mix on every project - and if you have got the right attitude, there's a genuine path to grow into more.

What You Will Be Doing

You will support the team across every stage of event delivery, from the early planning stages through to bump-out and wrap-up. It's fast-paced, varied and hands-on - a outstanding grounding for anyone building a long-term career in events, PR or a creative agency.

About You

This role suits an experienced event coordinator who genuinely thrives when executing events - the logistics, the last-minute problem-solving, the satisfaction of watching a plan come together exactly as it should. You are resilient, confident under pressure and comfortable presenting to a room. You take direction well, but you don't need to be managed closely to deliver.

In this role you will:

- Support the team through each stage of event delivery, from brief to bump-out and reporting;
- Assist in pulling together run sheets, timelines and event documentation;
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors across staging, AV, catering, styling and staffing;
- Source quotes, track costs and help keep budgets on track;




- Provide on-the-ground support at events, staying calm when things move fast;
- Work alongside the PR and creative teams to help campaigns come together;
- Help uphold the agency's high delivery standards on every project;
- Start building your own relationships with Melbourne's event suppliers and venues.

About You You are a graduate or early in your career, but you have got the attitude that can't be taught - intelligent, dedicated, adaptive and genuinely energised by a fast-paced environment. You are not fazed by pressure, you take direction well, and you are hungry to learn how events really come together behind the scenes.

You will bring

- 1-2 year's experience in events or a similarly fast-paced setting;
- A genuine interest in building a career in events or the creative agency space;
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities;
- A calm, can-do attitude under pressure;
- Confidence communicating with suppliers, clients and internal teams;
- Comfortable across Microsoft Office; exposure to event management systems is a bonus.

What you lack in experience, you make up for in attitude - you are proactive, dependable and ready to get stuck in.
