Hewish Road Childcare Centre is seeking a passionate, experienced, and motivated Toddler Room Leader to join our warm and supportive team in Croydon.

This is a part-time or full-time opportunity within our 47-place boutique centre, where relationships, collaboration, and high-quality education are at the heart of everything we do.

We are looking for a confident leader who has the passion to work with toddlers and guide a team to create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.

About the Role

As Babies or Toddler Room Leader, you will:

- Lead and mentor educators within the toddler room
- Create and implement engaging programs aligned with the EYLF and VEYLDF
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Build solid relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Ensure compliance with NQS and Child Safe Standards
- Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth

Essential Requirements




- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher)
- Proven experience working in a toddler room
- Previous room leader or leadership experience preferred
- Engaging in the KG Learning approach
- Strong knowledge of EYLF, VEYLDF, NQS, and Child Safe Standards
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates
- Current Working with Children Check
- Child Protection training
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
