CBRE is looking for two Facilities Managers to take ownership of building portfolios within a newly acquired Charter Hall commercial precinct in Sydney CBD.
This is the point where good facilities management makes a visible difference. You'll help establish the day-to-day operating rhythms, contractor expectations and occupier relationships that will shape how your assets perform under their new management structure.
You'll be the key facilities contact for your portfolio, responsible for maintenance, compliance, building services, contractor performance and occupier experience. At the same time, you'll work closely with the Precinct Manager and a fellow Facilities Manager to create consistent standards across the wider precinct.
Perfect for someone who understands commercial building operations, enjoys taking ownership and wants the support of a connected precinct team without losing accountability for their own assets.
In this role, you will
- Take ownership of day-to-day facilities management and operational performance across an allocated portfolio within the commercial precinct
- Support the onboarding and operational integration of newly acquired assets into Charter Hall and CBRE management platforms
- Manage planned and reactive maintenance, building services and contractor performance against agreed standards
- Oversee compliance, WHS, risk management, statutory obligations and regular building inspections across your portfolio
- Build trusted relationships with occupiers, client stakeholders and service partners while maintaining a robust customer experience
- Manage operational reporting, budgets and service delivery measures, and contribute to shared precinct projects and improvement initiatives
About You
You understand how commercial buildings operate and take pride in keeping them safe, compliant and performing well.
You're comfortable working with building services, contractors and occupiers, and you know how to stay on top of planned maintenance, risk and day-to-day issues. Most importantly, you follow through, build trust quickly and enjoy being accountable for your assets.
- Experience in Facilities Management, commercial property operations, building services or a comparable environment
- Working knowledge of commercial building systems, plant, planned maintenance and essential services
- Experience managing contractors and service providers to agreed service, compliance and performance standards
- Understanding of WHS, risk management, statutory compliance and operational reporting in a property environment
- Confident relationship management skills with occupiers, contractors,
client stakeholders and internal teams
- An organised, proactive approach and the ability to manage competing priorities across a portfolio
Why CBRE?
- Join a newly acquired commercial precinct at the point where your work can shape long-term performance
- Own your portfolio while benefiting from the support of a Precinct Manager and collaborative FM team
- Build exposure to institutional-grade commercial operations and a respected Charter Hall account
- Develop across CBRE's national facilities and property management platform
- Access employee benefits, wellbeing programs and career development through a global real estate business
