HR Code is recruiting on behalf of a growing Australian family law practice looking for an experienced Family Lawyer with 3+ years' PAE to join its fully remote team.

This is a genuine work-from-anywhere-in-Australia opportunity for a capable family lawyer who enjoys taking ownership of their matters and building strong client relationships, while still having experienced senior support when they need it.

You'll work closely with the Practice Director, have Law Clerk support for appropriate delegated work, and join the practice at an exciting stage of growth where you'll have the opportunity to genuinely influence how the legal team develops.

⚖️ What you'll be doing

You'll manage family law matters from initial consultation through to resolution, including:

- conducting paid initial consultations and providing clear, practical advice;
- managing your own family law caseload with appropriate autonomy;
- advising clients across parenting, property and separation matters;
- drafting correspondence, agreements, court documents and advice;
- managing negotiations and progressing matters efficiently;
- maintaining strong client communication and file management;
- keeping accurate time, WIP and billing records;
- working with the Law Clerk and Client Intake team to keep matters moving efficiently;
- escalating complex or strategic matters to the Practice Director when required; and
- contributing to precedents, systems and the continued development of a high-performing remote practice.

? You'll be a great fit if you:

• have 3+ years' post-admission experience and genuine Australian family law experience;

- are comfortable running your own matters and making sound decisions;
- communicate exceptionally well with clients,



particularly during what can be a difficult period in their lives;
- have strong drafting and technical family law skills;
- are organised, commercially aware and comfortable managing your own priorities remotely;
- hold a current Australian practising certificate; and
- enjoy autonomy while still valuing access to an experienced Practice Director when a matter needs another set of eyes.

Set up to succeed
