Direct Personnel are currently seeking an experienced Factory Worker/Forklift Operator to join a busy recycling and processing facility based in Banyo.
This is a hands-on role combining forklift operation with general factory, processing and production duties. We’re looking for someone with previous experience in a similar environment who is reliable, takes initiative and is comfortable working independently when required.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operating forklifts to move materials and products around the site
- Loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently
- Sorting and processing materials
- Working across production and processing areas
- Operating machinery and basic equipment
- Manual handling and general factory duties
- Keeping work areas clean, organised and protected
- Assisting with day-to-day workflow and priorities as required
What We Need from You:
- Previous factory, manufacturing,
recycling or production experience
- Current Forklift Licence with confident operating experience
- Reliable, motivated and able to use your initiative
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on and repetitive work
- Strong understanding of workplace safety
- Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
- Current Police Check or willingness to obtain
- Full Australian working rights
