We’re looking for casual Catering Assistants to join our friendly team at Bodington in Wentworth Falls, where you’ll play an important role in creating nutritious, enjoyable and high-quality dining experiences for our residents.

About the role

As part of our Catering team, you’ll help deliver delicious meals and exceptional dining experiences while ensuring our residents feel supported, respected and cared for. Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with meal preparation and resident meal service.
- Providing a welcoming, high-quality dining experience for residents.
- Assisting residents with their dining needs where required.
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness and hygiene.
- Working collaboratively with your colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment.
- Following workplace health and safety policies and procedures to keep yourself, your colleagues and residents safe.




- Building positive and respectful relationships with residents and their families.

What you’ll bring:

We’re looking for someone who combines a genuine care for people with a positive, can-do attitude. To be successful, you’ll have:

- Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) is desirable, but not essential.
- A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to older people.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
- Good knowledge of food safety, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene practices.
- Warm, empathetic interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
- The ability to establish and maintain professional and respectful relationships with residents and their families.
- An NDIS Worker Screening Check and Police Check, or willingness to obtain them.
