FF&E; Coordinator/Package Manager (Contract)

Position Overview
Redback Health Services are seeking a Perth-based Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E;) Coordinator to join a project team delivering a major hospital development in WA.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, strong computer capability, ideally with demonstrated experience in FF&E; specification and procurement. Prior experience working with databases and on healthcare projects will be highly regarded.
This position is offered on a contract basis, for a minimum of 6 months, with a high likelihood of extension. The contractor will be required to hold (or obtain) a valid Australian Business Number (ABN) and operate as an independent contractor in association with one of Australia’s leading health FF&E; companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordination of FF&E; activities throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, documentation, procurement and delivery.
- Management of the FF&E; database (dRofus), schedules, registers and various documents.
- Support the procurement processes, including supplier engagement, tender documentation and evaluation, approvals and delivery coordination.
- Coordinate and facilitate internal and external meetings.
- Track project milestones, lead times, budgets, approvals and delivery status, to meet tight deadlines.
- Assist with the coordination of installation, commissioning and handover activities.
Required Skills and Experience
- Robust computer skills with a high proficiency in Excel.
- Confidence using database systems, document management platforms and project reporting tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in parallel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience delivering FF&E; packages for healthcare or other complex infrastructure projects.
- Working knowledge of the dRofus and Aconex software packages.
- Understanding of clinical environments, healthcare workflows and associated furniture and equipment requirements.
- Experience working within large-scale capital projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Australian procurement practices and project delivery frameworks.
Engagement Requirements
- Perth-based Contract position for a minimum of 6 months.
- Candidate must hold (or obtain) a valid ABN and be able to provide services as an independent contractor.
- Availability to support project requirements and key delivery milestones.
