We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Field Application Engineer to join our System Commercial Business Group in Current South Wales, reporting to the Head of Commercial – SYS BG.
The purpose of this role is to support Account Managers, SI and resellers on product related enquiry, build up ECO system to complete ASUS commercial solution offerings, guarantee the highest standard of partner satisfaction, be proactive in fostering collaboration between internal teams, service, resellers, and commercial customers.
Key aspects of the role are including but not limited to:
- Support the Regional Team by facilitating the introduction of ICT products and communicating effectively.
- Conferring with clients and engineers to assess equipment needs and determine system requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and client needs and communicate information to appropriate internal stakeholders.
- Building Proof of Concept Solutions.
- Resolving technical challenges identified in field operations.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to manage the highest standards of SLA;
- Performing evaluation, benchmarking, and optimisation of IT equipment.
- Performing evaluation of commercial customer satisfaction in all verticals.
- Reporting technical information to ASUS HQ for product and software support improvements.
- Preparing and attending regular service review meetings with account management teams and commercial clients.
- Establish training materials, agenda and conduct technical training for clients
- Conduct interstate travel as required to support commercial activities, client engagements, and team collaboration across Australia.
- Conduct occasional international travel to attend industry events, partner meetings, and key business conferences as required.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications
- 5 years'+ IT help desk, MSP, IT administration, hardware repair experience
- Knowledge and understanding of the IT hardware solutions is essential:
- Microsoft and Google deployment services (Autopilot, Pre-deployment, Zero touch enrolment, DFCI, SCCM package customization and verification)
- Intune management (Device and App management, Policy deployment, End point security, etc)
- Windows SOE/MOE customization and verification
- Absolute Persistence 2.0 in UEFI
- BIOS management and Firmware updates
- Other technical solutions
- Product Demonstrations: Delivered detailed product demonstrations to potential clients,
highlighting key features and benefits.
- Customer Training: Conducted training sessions and workshops for customers to enhance their understanding and usage of products.
- Technical Support: Provided on-site and remote technical support to customers, ensuring the successful implementation and integration of company products.
- Feedback Collection: Gathered customer feedback and communicated it to the product development, service team, to drive continuous improvement.
- Documentation: Created and maintained technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Proof of concept solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
- Great problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and time management skills
