Role Description This part-time remote role as Financial Analyst / Finance Manager supports Solar City’s financial planning, reporting, and performance analysis. The role involves preparing and reviewing financial reports, analyzing financial statements, and providing insights to support budgeting, forecasting, and business decisions.

Responsibilities include monitoring key financial metrics, assessing project profitability and cash flow, and collaborating with operations and leadership to optimize resource allocation. The role also includes maintaining accurate financial records, supporting compliance with internal controls, and contributing to process improvements that enhance financial efficiency.

Qualifications

- Robust Finance and Financial Planning skills, with experience in budgeting and forecasting.




- Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including consolidation and variance analysis.
- Advanced Analytical Skills, with ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Experience with financial modeling and Excel or other spreadsheet and analytics tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
- Knowledge of renewable energy or project-based finance is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
