Role Description The Financial Research Assistant / Research Assistant (Finance) is a part-time remote role focused on supporting financial and business-related research within the Business Central and Power Platform context. Day-to-day tasks include collecting and analyzing financial and operational data, assisting in the design and execution of research projects, and preparing clear summaries, reports, and presentations for internal and community use. The role also involves collaborating with group organizers and contributors to interpret findings, support decision-making, and provide insights that help members optimize their use of Business Central.

The assistant will work independently, manage multiple research tasks, and communicate progress and results to stakeholders in an organized and timely manner.

- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Data Analysis capabilities to interpret financial and operational information.




- Candidates should possess solid Communication skills to present findings clearly and collaborate with a diverse professional community.
- Candidates should possess Research experience, including designing studies, gathering data, and synthesizing results.
- Candidates should possess Laboratory Skills or equivalent structured research methods experience, especially in handling datasets and ensuring data integrity.
- Relevant skills such as familiarity with finance or accounting concepts, experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Power Platform, and proficiency in spreadsheet and data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) are beneficial.
- A background in finance, economics, business analytics, or a related field (academic or practical) and the ability to work independently in a remote setting are preferred.
