Followmont Transport is seeking an experienced Fleet Controller to join our Sydney team. This hands-on operational role is responsible for coordinating drivers, fleet and resources to ensure protected, efficient and reliable service delivery across our network.

Working in a fast-paced transport environment, you'll oversee daily operations, manage schedules, monitor compliance requirements and support our drivers to achieve exceptional customer outcomes.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate drivers, fleet and resources to ensure smooth daily operations
- Manage schedules, route planning and resource allocation
- Monitor operational KPI's, costs and performance using Excel and reporting tools
- Maintain compliance with transport regulations, safety requirements and company procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including RF scanning and pallet control processes
- Lead by example and promote a culture of accountability, safety and service excellence

About You

- Previous experience in transport, logistics or fleet operations
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and reporting tools




- Excellent planning, time management and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of transport compliance, Chain of Responsibility and operational requirements
- Knowledge of dangerous goods segregation and equipment configurations highly regarded
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good understanding of the Sydney and NSW transport network
