Afterpay Arena is looking for energetic, enthusiastic and people-focused individuals to join our team as Casual Front of House Event Staff!

From world-class concerts and sporting events to unforgettable live entertainment, no two shifts are the same. As part of our Front of House team, you will be right in the middle of the action, helping create an incredible experience for thousands of guests.

You will be one of the first faces our patrons see, welcoming guests, assisting with directions, managing crowds and helping ensure every event runs smoothly from the moment doors open until the final guest leaves.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Deliver a friendly, welcoming, and positive experience to all patrons.
- Efficiently scan tickets and wristbands to ensure a smooth entry.
- Guide patrons to their seats or sections with care and attentiveness.
- Listen to and resolve guest inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously.
- Provide helpful directions and manage cloakroom services seamlessly.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by monitoring the crowd and enforcing protocols respectfully.




- Offer support at the reception and information desk with a customer-centric approach.
- Assist with lifts and event announcements to enhance guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and order between events for a pleasant environment.
- .Conduct arena bowl seating checks to ensure guests are comfortably accommodated.
- Communicate clearly and professionally using correct radio call signs and protocol.
- Demonstrate full venue knowledge to guide and assist patrons while enforcing house rules considerately.
- Be someone who genuinely loves interacting with people and providing excellent customer experiences.
- Follow directions accurately and respond positively to guidance from supervisors and managers.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with diverse crowds under pressure.
- Full Australian Working Rights.
- Strong interpersonal and clear communication skills.
- Friendly and approachable demeanour.
- High level of personal grooming.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, late shifts and holidays.
- Ability to be able to walk up and down stairs, work at great heights and stand for extended periods.

All successful candidates will be required to undergo a national police check at their own expense prior to engagement. This is an event-based casual role,



so shifts are not your typical Monday to Friday routine. You will work around our exciting event calendar (usually weekends), with shifts available when the action is happening at Afterpay Arena.
