Artilux is looking for an experienced handyman, maintenance technician or installer who wants secure, permanent employment with consistent Monday-to-Friday hours.

This is an employee position - not subcontract or casual work. You’ll receive a regular salary, superannuation, paid leave and a fully equipped company van, with all work-related fuel and tolls paid.

You’ll need at least two years’ hands-on installation or fitting experience and take pride in producing accurate, tidy work. Previous retractable screen experience is not required - we'll provide full training in our products and installation methods.

The role

- Install custom-made retractable and pleated screens
- Complete service and repair work when required
- Carry out accurate check measures after training
- Work predominantly across Sydney’s South, Eastern Suburbs and Inner West
- Attend our Hornsby factory twice weekly for materials and toolbox meetings
- Communicate professionally with customers in their homes
- Complete job updates and reports using an iPad
- Work closely with our installation, factory and office teams

About you

- At least two years’ hands-on installation, fitting or maintenance experience
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Able to measure accurately and solve practical problems on site
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Reliable,



punctual and able to work independently
- Professional and comfortable dealing with customers
- Current Australian driver licence
- Australian working rights

Experience with windows, doors, screens, blinds, awnings, shutters, cabinetry, glazing, shopfitting or similar products would be highly regarded.
