Bring your artistic ideas to life across a varied portfolio of interactive game projects. As a Game Artist, you’ll take visual concepts from early ideas through to polished production-ready assets, while also creating engaging 2D animation that brings characters, interfaces and game features to life. You’ll work closely with artists, animators, designers, developers and testers in a collaborative studio environment, with plenty of scope to develop your skills across illustration, animation and technical art.
As Game Artist, you will create and animate high-quality 2D assets across multiple game projects, adapting visual styles to meet creative, technical and gameplay requirements.
Role Highlights
- Create polished 2D artwork for recent and established interactive game projects.
- Develop concepts and visual directions across a broad range of themes, styles and creative briefs.
- Design characters, symbols, environments, interfaces, logos, typography and supporting graphical assets.
- Produce engaging 2D animation for characters, UI elements, game features and sequences.
- Work collaboratively throughout production, responding to creative feedback and balancing artistic ambition with technical requirements.
You Will Need
- Strong 2D digital art and illustration skills with excellent fundamentals in drawing, composition, colour, lighting and visual storytelling.
- Experience creating animation, with a strong understanding of timing, movement, pacing and visual impact.
- A creative and adaptable approach, with the ability to work across different artistic styles and visual directions.
- The ability to interpret creative briefs, gameplay requirements and technical constraints and turn them into effective visual solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to contribute ideas and work constructively with multidisciplinary teams.
