We are seeking a dedicated, high-energy Grill Cook to join our growing culinary team. In this role, you will prepare high-quality ingredients and execute dishes to exact standards. The ideal candidate works well under pressure, takes pride in culinary excellence, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment.

Core Responsibilities

- Culinary Cooking: Prep, cook, and fire premium menu items according to established recipes and plating guides.
- Line Setup: Assist with the complete setup, deep cleaning, and full stocking of the entire main service line before service begins.
- Line Breakdown: Lead or assist in closing down the line at the end of service, including wrapping products, breaking down stations, performing a line sweep, and wiping down your station. (Deep cleaning of heavy kitchen equipment is handled nightly by an outside service).
- Food Safety: Maintain immaculate preparation surfaces and strictly follow all local health department safety and sanitation codes.
- Equipment Management: Monitor, adjust,



and log temperatures on kitchen apparatus including grills, fryers, ovens, and coolers.
- Quality Control: Taste and inspect ingredients for absolute freshness, label all products with dates, and use FIFO rotation.
- Pace & Efficiency: Track station stock thresholds during busy shifts to prevent service bottlenecks and ticket delays.
- Consistency: Memorize and apply exact portion metrics and precise cook times for every ticket.
- Team Collaboration: Partner seamlessly with prep cooks, dishwashers, and front-of-house staff to ensure hot food goes out fast.

Requirements Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 12 months of high-volume line cook experience preferred.
- Mobility: Full range of physical motion to bend, reach, squat, and navigate tight kitchen spaces safely.
- Stamina: Ability to stand and walk continuously on hard surfaces for up to an 8-hour shift.
- Lifting: Ability to safely lift and carry up to 40 lbs independently, and up to 80 lbs with a partner.
